Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and scallions to finish
Instructions
- Whisk honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger together. Mix the cornstarch with water separately.
- Steam or microwave the broccoli 2-3 minutes until bright green and just tender; set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the chicken in a single layer 4-5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Pour in the sauce and bring to a bubble, then stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook 1 minute until glossy and thick.
- Fold in the broccoli to coat, then finish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve over rice.
