Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups mixed veg (broccoli, carrot, bell pepper, snap peas)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Scallions and sesame seeds to finish
Instructions
- Heat neutral oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Push the beef aside, add garlic and ginger to the pan, and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the vegetables and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes; toss 1-2 minutes until everything is glossy.
- Finish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or noodles.
